Mason Autism Support Initiative (MASI)
The Mason Autism Support Initiative (MASI) is a comprehensive, fee-based program that is in place to provide additional, intensive support services to students on the Autism Spectrum that are above the standard accommodations received in higher education. MASI uses a team-based approach to assist students in achieving their goals in college. An individualized plan of support is created at the beginning of each academic year.
Through this program students have access to
- Peer Mentor (undergraduate student)
- Learning Strategist (graduate student or professional)
- Skill-building Classes and Groups
- Monthly Social Events
The fee for the 2017-2018 academic year is $6,600. Once a student is accepted into MASI, they must pay a deposit $400 to confirm their admission, which is taken out of the overall $6,600 fee.
Applications for the 2017-2018 academic school year are now closed. Please check back on a later date for information regarding admissions deadlines for the 2018-2019 academic school year.
