Application Process 2025-2026
The Executive Functioning Program (EFP) application window for the 2025-2026 academic year is now open and will close Friday, May 16, 2025.
The fee for the 2025-2026 academic year is $4,000.00. The application and all required components are due by Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
EFP is a first-come, first-serve program. Final EFP decisions will be sent out by Friday, June 13, 2025. If a student accepts a spot in EFP, they will be invited for an initial interview. A completed application includes:
- EFP Application 2025-2026 (PDF)
- Documentation of a disability related to Executive Functioning
- GMU Acceptance Letter
- One Educational Overview Form (undergraduate students only – submitted directly by person completing the form) PDF
- Parent-Guardian Response (undergraduate students only) PDF
- Self-Reflection Form (completed by student) PDF
If you are unable to access the PDF versions of the application materials, please contact us at [email protected].
EFP applications may be submitted at the same time as the regular admission application to George Mason. However, applications will NOT be reviewed for consideration until all application materials have been received, including the George Mason University acceptance letter.
After May 16th, if space remains in the program, applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
There is a deposit of $500.00 for students accepted to the program to secure their space in the program. The deposit is applied to the overall fee. EFP fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the academic year. Deadlines for the deposit and the remaining balance will be provided to students if they are offered, and accept, a spot in the program.
